Iraqi Youth Model United Nations (IYMUN) is an international youth-led organization dedicated to empowering young people through diplomacy, leadership, and global engagement. Through professionally structured Model United Nations conferences, leadership programs, and official membership opportunities, IYMUN provides youth with practical international exposure and long-term professional development.

To expand its reach locally and internationally, IYMUN is seeking motivated, persuasive, and results-driven individuals to join its team as IYMUN Ambassadors.

🎯 Position Overview

The IYMUN Ambassador will represent IYMUN both locally and globally and play a key role in promoting IYMUN’s paid international conferences and official membership programs. Ambassadors are expected to actively engage with students, youth networks, universities, and organizations within their local communities as well as across international networks, successfully converting interest into fully paid registrations and memberships.

⚠️ Important:
This position is 100% commission-based. There is no fixed salary or guaranteed income.

🧭 Key Responsibilities

As an IYMUN Ambassador, you will be responsible for:

  • Promoting IYMUN’s paid international Model United Nations conferences locally and globally

  • Actively recruiting delegates from local, regional, and international audiences and ensuring they complete registration and full payment

  • Attracting individuals to join IYMUN as official paid members, both locally and internationally

  • Clearly explaining:

    • Conference benefits, fees, and value

    • Membership advantages and long-term opportunities within IYMUN

  • Representing IYMUN professionally across:

    • Online campaigns

    • University and school communities

    • Youth and student networks

    • Social media platforms

  • Building and maintaining a strong local and international outreach network

  • Meeting or exceeding recruitment targets

  • Providing regular updates and performance reports

  • Acting in alignment with IYMUN’s mission, values, and ethical standards

💼 Compensation & Incentives

This role offers commission-based compensation only.

💰 Commission Structure

  • Ambassadors will receive USD 50 for each confirmed delegate they successfully recruit.

✅ Definition of a Confirmed Delegate

A confirmed delegate is a participant who has:

  • Completed the official IYMUN registration process, and

  • Fully paid the required participation and invitation fees.

⚠️ Important Conditions

  • No commission will be paid for:

    • Incomplete registrations

    • Pending or partial payments

    • Cancelled or withdrawn applications

  • Commissions are calculated only after full payment is received by IYMUN.

  • Payment methods and schedules will be communicated to selected Ambassadors.

📈 Additional Opportunities

High-performing Ambassadors may:

  • Be prioritized for future IYMUN leadership roles

  • Receive official certificates and recommendation letters

  • Gain access to expanded responsibilities in upcoming projects

Required:

  • Strong communication and persuasion skills

  • Ability to convert interest into paid participation

  • Confidence in promoting paid opportunities

  • Excellent networking and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and meet targets

  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)

Desirable:

  • Experience in sales, marketing, or outreach

  • Background in Model United Nations or youth organizations

  • Strong social media presence

  • Access to local and international student or youth networks

  • Multilingual abilities

  • Entrepreneurial mindset
